History

BBI Missions was formerly known as Bible Basics Canada which began in May 2008. Our purpose was to spread God’s Word, working as a Canadian partner with Bible Basics International, Ministerios Base Biblica de Honduras and Missions India.

Bible Basics International was founded by Dr. Eugene Priddy and his wife Monna Dean and their five children. Dr. Priddy started his missionary career with Trans World Radio and served for 16 years in Europe, North Africa, and finally in the U.S. as Assistant to the President. In 1973 he felt God leading him to a new ministry and started Bible Basics International.

With encouragement from Dr. Priddy and strong belief that God was leading, four Canadian couples stepped out in faith to expand the ministries of Bible Basics International. Under the direction of our Canadian board, Bible Basics Canada has been actively involved in mission projects in India, Honduras, Haiti, and Togo.
