Past Projects
India
BBI Missions helped provide basic academic and life skills to children living in the slums. This enables the children to qualify to enter the public school system. As part of this program, children’s bible programs were used to introduce the children to the Gospel. We visited the homes and had opportunity to minister to the entire family.
We also have sent send funds which allowed Missions India to complete the construction of a Pastoral Training Center.
Honduras
Canadian team members have been part of Community Evangelism and Medical Evangelism trips into Honduras.
Togo
In partnership with ABWE (American Baptist World Evangelism) we installed a radio station in TOGO Africa.
Haiti
During two trips to Haiti we repaired and built homes for pastors. These pastors had homes damaged or destroyed in the devastating earthquake which struck Haiti on January 12, 2010.
During these trips to Haiti it was evident that many of the church families could not afford to send their children to school.
On return to Canada we launched a Child Sponsorship program to assist these families. This program worked through local churches and pastors. It provided support for the child’s education, which in turn provides a benefit to the child’s entire family.
